Twelve module system of fully-integrated general accounting software. The
modules include: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
Inventory control, Payroll, Order Entry, Purchase Orders, Sales Analysis,
Financial Statements, Fixed Assets, Report Writer, and Multi-client/Company.
The ``X'' versions include a variety of enhancements including numerous changes
directed at the UNIX/XENIX operating system, networks, and other multi-user
environments. These include: multiprinter select, ``point-and-shoot'' menus,
expanded utilities, enhanced field editing, online access to other modules,
along with application specific features. The system features have been
strengthened while maintaining a clean screen and easy access interface.
Attention to detail has also been expanded, both in reporting and on-screen
access. The MIA Integrated Accounting software has enjoyed continued success in
the microcomputer environment since 1984. This release maintains the same
standards of added capability without added complexity. Although a number of
the added features are targeted at the multi-user environment, a great deal of
standalone users will find this software a substantial value for the price. As
before, the source code is provided along with technical help to any developer
wishing to make modifications.
